Members earn $.02 fish cents per post. At the moment this can be used towards purchasing classified ads. Other uses will be coming before the year is over with.

WOW, That is a great idea. I think it would be a good idea to use the fish bucks for IDA merchandise also. This is a really great idea to intrigue posting on the site and encourage lurkers to become members. Great Idea in-depth web staff! Nick

The only merchandise I have laying around is used computer parts that should probably be disposed of. I wish I could shed my pack-rat ways. LoL

Some threads are worth more to reply to. Like threads in the Bass Forums....it'll cost you well over three bucks to post in there.
Just kidding of course.

I think the balance(if there is one) would be paid for through a Paypal system.

That is odd. It may have been caused by me? I was working on the script that adds posts to the database. I'm putting in the option for blocking users from earning fish bucks, if needed.
I'll get your bucks restored shortly. Thanks for letting me know.

Blue is correct. Any remaining balance after your fish bucks have been deducted will be directed towards paypal to complete the transaction.

I'd thought about putting a boat for sale on the classifieds- - BUT- -since you mentioned using Paypal, I'll be holding off. I have issues with Paypal in that they are not firearm/hunter/shooter friendly. I quit doing business with them on Google because of this attitude. I'm glad you brought that up. jerr

The only problem I see with the system is that the guy who posts an informative note with actual value gets 2 cents. But the goofball (like me) who does this gets 2 cents too. I like the idea though! whoops

I think you should screw the pymt. thing on the classifieds and charge an annual membersship fee, just to be able to post, say $10.00 per year and just get rid of the classified Head Ache. I would be more than willing to pay $10.00 A Year for all of the info and the laughs I get off this site, plus be able to have a free classified add once in awhile, without having to mess with fish bucks and pay pal.

dd- - I've been lurking long enough to see what kind of a goofball you really are. Guys like you make guys like me realize how little I really have to bring to the table. I have no problem with the system, just some of the parties involved. . . jerr

I wish there were more payment handlers out there that are as flexible as paypal. I can't say that I have ever had any problems with paypal but I have heard of others who have. I think things got better after Ebay purchased paypal.
As it is though you don't have to be a member of paypal to use their system to make a purchase. It is only more convenient if you do have a paypal acount.

C'mon jerr! You got plenty to bring to the table. And I know I get way more out of the site than I bring to it.
First of all: I can't post pics because I got a crappy dial-up system that I can't bear to update (that means I'm not paying for it ) Second: I don't get out much compared to a lot of the guys here. And Third: Much of my "knowledge" that I spout here I got here in the last three years. And finally: There are all sorts of topics that come up that I don't have a clue about; but you or somebody else might. Everybody has got a spot at the table. Just some of us are louder than the others........ I think I beat that pretty much to death... Later sir!
