I've heard rumors of a 24 point buck shot this year near Fountain City. Anyone have any pictures of such an animal?

We have a biggie like this where some of my group hunt, I cannnot. Is ok. It is open ground with a rare wooded ditch. No timber to speak of near there and rifles are not legal here. Anyways the guys that can hunt there know of him, he was directly under one of their stands with a doe for over 6 hours one day while the farmer was mowing. We thought he had been hit by a truck, but the farmer has seen him since. Some hunters hunt a fence-line about 100 yards from this property and have not been seen to trespass yet. Kudos to them. Anyways, shooting hours here end at sunset, which with a clear sky is well before a guy could see to shoot. The farmer saw this deer with 12+ points on each side simply get up and walk away afer laying low all day. This buck layed on a lonely fenceling that is not timbered, just a bit of brush all day. This fenceline was within 100 yards of the other hunters and within 100 yards of an excavating crew that was laying field tiling. The big guys get that way for a reason around here. Patient deer take patient hunters. Hopefully one of my buds will get him. I saw him from a great distance, Huge mass. With luck I will have a pic to post if I can figure out how. I for one also believe that these deer are not as uncommon as we make them seem. I believe most are nocturnal and very smart in the ways of the hunter.

Jarrad,
Thanks for the picture of that big buck. However, it's not the one I mentioned since it was supposed to be shot in the gun season. Though it's great to see some of the quality deer in the area.

I hunted there for the gun season, didn't hear about another 24 pointer other than Scott's above. Not that it means there wasn't, but news usually travels fast.
