What the AP failed to report here is Ourada was kicked out of the bar, went to another location (vehicle or home) retrieved his handgun and returned to the scene. I’d just like to point out that anyone (Permit holder or not) with a gun can do the same thing. I wish they had made it clear what happened here. They make it sound like he was tossed out of the bar and immediaterly turned around an shot the bouncer. The bouncer was killed hours after the initial incedent.
============================================================
Suspect Pleads Guilty In Killing Of Nye's Bouncer (AP) Minneapolis The man accused of killing the doorman at Nye's Polonaise Room in northeast Minneapolis last May pleaded guilty to second-degree intentional murder Tuesday.
Zachary Ourada, 27, of Minneapolis, was immediately sentenced to 36 years in prison for fatally shooting Billy Walsh in the back after Walsh removed him from the supper club.
According to prosecutors, Ourada shot Walsh four times in the back from close range after being tossed out of Nye's and pestering Walsh to get back in.
Ourada was legally drunk at the time of the killing and had a permit to carry a gun. He is believed to be the first Minnesota gun permit holder charged with murder since the state's 2003 permit-to-carry law took effect.
Nye's is famous for its piano bar and Polish pirogies and other delicacies. It's the gateway to a bustling entertainment and residential district just across the Mississippi River from downtown Minneapolis.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Jim Snyder, a bartender at the Times Bar & Cafe across the street and a friend of Walsh's, told reporters that Ourada had been in the Times that night and was bragging about his carry permit and his gun.
"He felt like somebody because he had a permit," Snyder said. (© 2006 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.)

You mean the other 200 murders that have happened since the carry permit has become legal has been done by non-permit holders? (this is a joke)
Wow.. criminals have guns too, most with previous violent records? (this is not a joke)
Instead of a conceal and carry law, lets make it manditory that everyone owns a firearm(except those with criminal background) and carry it if they so desire. Concealed, holstered on their belt, whatever..
Do you think the crime rate will drop in a hurry? A few thugs might get shot from law abiding citizens before long, but it would drop in a hurry.

The liberal media will tell the story with a slant toward what they want people to think. Editing the story so it tells not the whole truth.
