A: Corrupt Cookies.

If you're experiencing any unusual website behavior, you likely need to expire your site specific cookies.

Symptoms may include but certainly aren't limited to the following;

* The website shows you as logged in at the home page but any time you click on a link to a different page the website returns you to the home page. You're stuck in a "loop." Clicking on "login" and entering your username and password don't solve the problem.

* Posts you know you've read aren't marked as "read."

* You're able to log in on one pc at work but you can't get logged in at home. Or vice versa.

Here's the step-by-step solution to 99.9% of the issues you might ever run into on this website.

Located top-left there is a box labeled "menu."

In that box is a link called "My Cookies." Click on that "My Cookies" link (shown image above).

Click on the "Expire Cookies" tab (shown image below).

Now log back in. Your issue should be resolved. If the problem persists, contact us at

and we'll be happy to assist you.

If you've cleared your cookies on IDA as posted above...(this does take care of almost all login issues)

The next step is to clear your browser cookies.

In MS Explorer it can be found here...

Tools >>> Internet options >>> Delete Cookies.

Still having problems?

You do not need to be logged in to post in this forum. Make a post for help and a member or staff of IDA will be glad to help.
