Taking Quotes from Previous Posts? new
#557872 - 07/31/07 11:33 AM

I've tried highlighting text and then hitting the quote button and vice versa. Also tried it before and after I hit reply, but obvously not doing something right. Can someone please clarify this for me?

Thanks,

Jim

Your doing everything correctly IF you have a Mac! LOL!

On a PC, highlight your text then use the keys...Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V to paste.

PS this post will be moved to FAQ in an hour or two. Thanks for asking!

Highlight, right click, copy, hit the quote button, right click, paste in between quotes.

Thanks guys!

PS I think your original question wrapped around using the "Quote" button.

When using that...you don't need to highlight anything...it will quote everything in the previous posts as I used it here.
