So after my 6.5 hour drive home from a fishing trip in ND over the last 4 days I had enough light to drive by my hunting land to see if the deer were hitting the winter wheat. As I drive by I see alot of deer so I pull into my parents driveway and pull out my binos, roll down the window and turn off the truck. I could not believe it! First it started out with 15 deer and my last count before it got too dark was 48, all within view of my parents front yard.  It was too dark and too far to see if any were wearing antlers but you can bet I'll confirm that tomorrow. Catails here I come this comming w-end.

Glad to hear that your winter wheat is pulling them in!  Now go find a shed and post a pic of it here!

i didn't even see a combined 45 deer in my favorite spot last fall in 20 hunts.... and out of the the 35 i did see, i'm sure 15-20 were repeats.
