My black lab Mae was actually sidelined last season with ACL surgery, so she is actually coming along quite nicely this year. She gets, provided it is not too hot about a 1.5 mile run all the way into the second bait. Once there she has the Squirrel River to lounge in. If it is too hot, I just shorten the length of the run. As it cools or if we bait in the a.m., she gets to enjoy it all and a swim in the Tomahawk River before the ride home. Sometime the deer flies can get to be pretty bad and I will throw her back in the truck at that time. I only hope that she gets to get back to the Miss. R. for the late season again this year.
