Cuddeback Expert new
#602422 - 08/11/08 11:50 AM

I bought the Cuddeback Expert ($80 off at SW)on Sunday and was curious on how people attach it to a tree and what they use to lock it down. I have a Cudde C3000 and use the screw and cable to keep it on the tree and lock it w/ a small padlock. I don't see a place for a cable on the Expert (it didn't come w/ one) but i have a couple from DC-100's from the past and don't like the idea of a single screw holding it to a tree. Any advice is appreciated. TIA

I believe the Expert, is designed to install only with the screw, then padlock it shut. I use 3 1/2 stainless deck screws. Then again, I don't put them out on public lands either.
