Has any one seen any numbers on the Pheasant and Grouse pop this year? They kids and the dog are getting a little antsy to hunt. Ok I'm too.

The DNR's from Mn, Ia and SD/ND are busy doing their August roadside counts right now so be patient. Once they tally the results they will be on this site I am sure!

Our Iowa bird numbers maybe a record low. Floods hit us all during the nesting and hatch. Everyone I've spoke with agree it will be one of worst years for Iowa.

SD here I come.
