I have heard that dove hunting is big in the south. They just legalized it here in MN a couple years ago and I don't know anyone who does it. Does anybody on here from Mn do it ? How do you go about it ?

Look for a patch of "hash" next to a sandpit and you are in bussiness. Dove is real good table fair when done up right And it's also a great warm-up for the upland seasons
Just got back from Oklahoma. Hunted with some guys I went to college with. We hunted in a freshly cut milo field. Got out early Saturday morning and waited for them to start flying. Walked the fields in the evening and Sunday morning, just like pheasant hunting. What a blast!! Shot about 50 birds from Friday evening until Saturday evening. Just about enough to feed 8 of us. I have had good luck in corn fields around here the first couple days after they have been cut.
