Best Blind bag
#603389 - 09/02/08 09:58 PM

For those waterfowlers out there, what have you found to be a good blind bag?? I have done some researching and it seems to be mixed reviews. I want a fully waterproof main compartment with sturdy seams and zippers. I am intrigued by Drake's bags, but am open to other ideas. Started field hunting last year, so I obviously won't have the trusty bucket with me and want something to take its place. Thanks!

Avery blind bag. It's the best blind bag out there in my opinion. I beat the crap out of mine. It usually has at least 3 boxes of shells in it. With all that weight and the abuse I give it, it still holds up. And it will float 6 boxes of shells.

The Avery blind bag hands down. I have had mine for 5 years years now & I'ts holding up to all the abuse it can take. As stated above it will float with up to six box's
of shells but also holds a lot of gear & keeps it dry.

Quick tip to any of you first-time expecting fathers - or for whoever you may know who is expecting their first child:

Purchase a really good blind bag to use as a diaper bag. Not only will it give you a little bit of that "tuff-guy" look when lugging the little cookie-stealer around, they work great for this application. And, when the wee one is done with it, you've got yourself another blind bag.
