My wife and I were in the Rice Lake, WI area yesterday and stopped at Bear Paw. While we were there a lady stopped in with the bear she shot the night before to get it weighed. They used a fork lift to haul it from the trailer to the scale. She shed a few tears of excitement when they read the scale and it was 553.4 lbs dressed!  She shot it with her new mathews. Very cool to see a bear of that size taken with a bow and to see her excitement about what she'd accomplished. I took a couple pix with my phone but don't have internet access on it and don't know if I can put it on the computer.

You should be able to buy a cable for your phone to download pics on to your PC.

Most likely the same picture I just saw in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram. A lady from Eau Claire had shot a 555lb bear and they had an article on it. I bet it's the same one and pics are likely able to be found there.
