Pool 7 low water concerns
#604724 - 09/21/08 09:45 PM

Today I was talking with 2 different guys about the upcoming duck season. Both ofthem mentioned extremally low water levels in the backwaters. So much so that even the ones guys Pro-Drive was having difficulties. The other guy ran his airboat out and found a lot of his regular potholes were dried up. He also mentioned how tough it was going to be for guys with regular outboards.
If what they say is true, and I have no reason to doubt them, the Pool 7 area is going to have a high concentration of people in a small area.
My hopes are to get out sometime this week and see what I can find for myself.
The positive thing is they both said there was a good population of resident ducks and a great crop of wild rice out there. 2 more weeks to go for opening day here in WI in the southern region
