Will be going over to Buffalo County on Saturday and Sunday to hopefully put the SMACK on a doe. Anyone else planning on hunting?

Here here! I hope to hunt in the drizzle tomorrow so long as it is drizzling. I can't hunt late tomorrow though as my son has a football game. I'm trying to poke a nice buck (ain't we all?) and will likely pass on a doe for awhile because momma is going to hunt this year. We don't need several deer so if she can score on a deer with the bow, and I can as well, then again in rifle season we'll be venison set. Matter of fact 4 deer for four people is too much so we'll donate a bunch too. Of course this is all assuming we even get to drop the hammer on some in the first place, lol.

I also will be hunting sunday afternoon in buffalo county looking for the big doe to walk by. I'd love to be out there saturday afternoon but gf got me and her tickets for the twins game which will be just as fun.

I sat this wekeend and saw a definitie shooter, a borderline shooter along with quite a few other smaller 1.5 and 2.5 year olds. The only bad part I was not hunting. 
I still had a great time though!

I did sat nite and sunday morn and eve. Bro-in-law picked up 20 acres, plus the neighbors 230 acres... just west of Onamia.... (he is smooth) I didn't see any, but the BIL did. I figure we pretty much chased everything out, setting stands... It should be a good area once the woods can settle down (they just threw a garage up the last 2 weeks) The great part about it is, it's intensive harvest
